We headed to the south Olympia area on Friday and Saturday August 11 and 12. Amy and Fritz had invited the family down to spend some time together eating and playing. It was also a chance for everyone to see their new property.
At the gathering were- Larcy and Roxanne (all day Saturday); Larry, Layia, and Laina; Gregg and Barbara; Rachael, Ian, Kinsley and Peter; Marsha and Clare; our hosts Fritz, Amy, Emma, and John. I think that’s everyone.
The kids swam.
Kinsley got to play with the big kids, Laina and Emma and John
All the adults visited and caught up with out various stories over the past year.
Ian got to drive and actually do work with Fritz’s tractor.
Drones were launched.
Wonderful hot weather and blue skies.
Nighttime star gazing and watching the Perseids meteor shower. Could also see the Milky Way developing over head.
Great food. Burgers and a well supported potluck for Sat. Dinner, Sunday Breakfast blueberry pancakes and bacon.
Tours of the house, huge shop and the property in general.
All and all a wonderful weekend .#
