Barbara’s solo trip to hometown Anacortes Aug. 2-4th. Stayed at Washington Park in Anacortes and attended part of the annual Arts and Crafts Fair. Washington Park is 220 acres located on the west side of Fidalgo Island. It’s got a boat launch, hiking trails , 2.2 mile loop around the park with views of the water, 25 rv spots and group camping. Weather for the 3 days was sunny and warm- perfect for being outside.- Met some interesting people during the trip.
- Enjoyed walking the 2.2 mile loop several times.
- Saw a variety of wildlife, including several deer.
- The van temporarily wouldn’t start, a bit of a shock. Was able to get it running by using the silver button in the back diverting lithium battery to the car battery.
- Attended the Arts and Crafts Festival
- Met Ian on Friday to give him a ride home after dropping their car in for service.
- Ian and I stopped in Burlington to visit the Heritage Museum of Flight.
